Scope
These terms apply to all brand identity, website, and PWA work offered through Imprint by Alan Geleff. By engaging me on a project, you're agreeing to what's written here.
How an engagement starts
A project officially begins when I receive a deposit or written confirmation (an email reply with a clear "let's go" works fine). Before that, we're in conversation — useful, but not contractual.
Revisions
Every project includes two rounds of revisions. That's almost always enough to land somewhere we both love. If you'd like to keep refining beyond that, additional rounds are available as a Refinement Pass — a flat $500 per round, no surprises.
Payment
Projects are priced as stated — no hidden line items. A deposit is required to begin work, and the balance is due on delivery. I'll send a simple invoice for both. If a project is paused or cancelled mid-flight, deposits are non-refundable, but any work I've completed is yours to keep.
Who owns the work
All final deliverables — marks, type systems, color, voice guidelines, websites, the whole identity — transfer to you in full upon final payment. Work-in-progress, drafts, and unused concepts remain my property until then.
Portfolio rights
I keep the right to display completed work in my portfolio, case studies, and social posts. If you'd rather I didn't — fully understandable, especially for stealth-mode brands — just let me know in writing and I'll honor it.
What I don't do
- No third-party website builders. No Shopify themes, no Squarespace, no Webflow. Every site I deliver is custom-built from the ground up.
- No analytics setup. I'll point you to good tools, but I won't wire dashboards.
- No social account management. The identity is yours to run with.
- No ongoing content writing. Launch copy, yes — long-term editorial, no.
If we disagree
Both sides agree to try to resolve disputes in good faith first — a real conversation, not a legal letter. If that genuinely doesn't work, we'll figure out next steps from there.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
